The hotel „Old Mill Hotel“ is one of the most spectacular buildings of the Klaipeda Port. In the XVIII c. this building was called the „Rice Mill“ because there was the first and the biggest rice mill in Lithuania. In 2008 a modern 3* PLUS hotel was open here after reconstruction, soon it has become a true symbol of the city of Klaipeda. The guests are offered 32 room (single, double/twin, suite). Each room features a flat screen TV with cable channels, free WiFi access, a telephone, a minibar, a ventilation and air conditioning system, a hair dryer. The rooms overlook a spectacular panorama of the Dane River‘s embankment, the Curonian Lagoon or the ancient casle site with an impressive marina. The restaurant „Rozmarinas“ cherishing European cuisine traditions offers the guests to enjoy delicious breakfast, a business lunch or a dinner.
History
"Old Mill Hotel" is one of the most impressive buildings of the port, located in the heart of the old town of Klaipėda, on Danė embankment, in the territory of the old castle, in front of the "Black Ghost" sculpture and the only "chain" bridge in Lithuania.
Warehouse "Three roofs"
Rice imported from China was processed in it, and it was built in the 18th century on Dane’s embankment. The first and largest rice warehouse in Lithuania operated here. It is believed that for this reason the building was “christened” the Rice Mill.

After the Second World War
After the Second World War, only the brick fragments of one floor remained from the six-story building, where the port administration was located.
1945
Restoration
In 2008 the restoration work of this historic building has been completed. The building has been returned to its authentic form and half-timbered style.
The modern 3*PLUS hotel “Old Mill Hotel” located in the reconstructed building has become a true symbol of Klaipėda city.

Guests are welcome to check in from 15.00. Check out time is before 12.00.

If you wish to check out later please inform our receptionist in advance. Additional charge is applicable for late check-out.

If you are planning to arrive later than 18.00, please inform the hotel, otherwise your booking may be canceled.

Guests are required to provide an ID upon arrival to the hotel.

Smoking is prohibited in hotel rooms and common use premises. Violation of this rule may cause a 58 Eur penalty.

Only guests registered at the reception may sleep in the rooms. Unregistered guests may visit the hotel from 8.00 to 23.00.If your guest stays at the hotel after 23.00 an additional charge applies. You can learn about the amount of such charge by calling our reception on the phone.

Guests shall compensate the hotel for any damage caused by them or any persons they may invite. Administration is entitled to evict guests from the hotel in case of failure to comply with or gross violation of these rules and to demand compensation of any damage or loss. All the disputes are resolved by negotiations, failing that – under the procedure set forth by Lithuanian laws.

Guests wishing to take their pets with them should agree this with the Hotel and inform the Hotel in advance. Charges are applicable for each pet brought to the Hotel; the pet owner is responsible for their pets living in the Hotel and covenant to compensate the Hotel for any damaged caused by their pet.

Guests are required to inform the hotel reception about any technical faults or improper service quality. Failing that, the hotel shall be relieved from any responsibility.

From 23.00 to 8.00 is quiet time at the hotel. Please respect other guests. If other guests disturb you please call the reception.

We recommend to keep your valuable items in the safe in your room or at the reception. The hotel is not responsible for any items left in the room.

For your and your property’s safety the hotel’s common use facilities and its outside territory are provided with surveillance video cameras.

No money is returned for any unused services included in your package.
